Actor Michael Madsen, known in part for appearing in Quentin Tarantino movies, was found dead on July 3. At the time, an exact cause of death wasn't clear, though according to some reports, it was suspected that Madsen had suffered cardiac arrest.

Now, per NBC4 Los Angeles, Madsen's cause of death has been confirmed. According to the report, Madsen's doctor said heart failure will be listed as the cause of death. Heart disease and alcoholism will also be named as contributing factors. Because the cardiologist who was treating Madsen signed the death certificate, there will not be an autopsy performed. Authorities have also closed the case because his death is listed as natural causes, and there was no indication of foul play.

This news follows another recent report by TMZ on Madsen's sobriety. Though he had previously struggled with alcoholism, Madsen had made "enormous strides" in his recovery leading up to his death.

Michael Madsen is speaking out after his arrest on charges of domestic battery.

The actor, 66, a fixture of Quentin Tarantino’s films, was booked in Malibu in the early hours of Aug. 18 after police responded to a “family disturbance” report involving his wife, DeAnna Madsen, 64.

The two separated following the devastating 2022 suicide of the couple’s 26-year-old son, Hudson, a U.S. Army sergeant who served in Afghanistan. Tarantino was Hudson’s godfather.

The two have another son, Luke, 18, who continues to live at his father’s house amid his parents’ separation.

According to Perry Wander, Madsen’s longtime attorney, DeAnna “broke into” Madsen’s Malibu home. “He confronted her and asked her to leave,” he says, noting it “has been an ongoing problem.”

“Michael has shown immense compassion and restraint during this period towards his estranged wife,” Madsen’s attorney continues. “He’s definitely not guilty of domestic violence.”

Madsen was released on $20,000 bail.

Kill Bill star Michael Madsen was arrested on Friday over allegations of felony child endangerment.

The actor was allegedly embroiled in an altercation with his young son in Malibu, California and taken into custody after cops were called to his home.

Madsen was then booked for child endangerment and held on $100,000 (£62,500) bail.

According to TMZ.com, the child did not need medical attention.

His lawyer Perry Wander claims the fall out came after the star caught his son smoking marijuana.

He says, "(Michael) found his son smoking pot and they got in an argument when he tried to take it away. It's a family matter and Michael asks that his family's privacy be respected."

Madsen has three sons with his third wife Deanna Morgan, and two boys from his previous relationship with Jeannine Bisignano.

He was the target of a hard search from The Bride in "Kill Bill." Now actor Michael Madsen finds himself wanted by another woman in relation to his past sins. And this time, it's no movie.

An arrest warrant has been issued for "Sin City" and "Reservoir Dogs" star, who reportedly owes $570,000 in unpaid child and spousal support, according to TMZ.

The warrant, which under United States law allows for the arrest and detention of the accused by any law enforcement officer, was issued after the 53-year-old Madsen failed to show up for a hearing regarding his unpaid support last week.
