Alec Wang spent his early childhood in Los Angeles, where he was first introduced to the performing arts. An accomplished piano player from a young age, he performed at showcases across the city before attending the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
Growing up, Alec participated in school plays and explored artistic hobbies like painting and calligraphy. He later studied acting abroad in Beijing, performing in various showcases and programs across China. It was the experience of performing-telling stories that transcend cultural barriers-that ultimately sparked his passion for acting. Alec feels a deep calling to be part of the intricate, inspiring worlds that storytelling creates and is committed to bringing his diverse cultural exposure into his work.
Since graduating during the Covid-19 era, Alec has consistently booked roles across TV shows and independent features since 2021.
