Destini Renee Moody was born on May 5 in Evansville, Indiana. Raised by a low-income, single mother, Destini found an escape from tough times by watching films on her VHS player TV. In pursuit of her dream to be in the same movies that brought her comfort, she landed her first lead role in her high school play sophomore year as Defense Attorney Stevens in Night of January 16th. After studying film and theater for a brief time at Indiana University, Destini took a hiatus from entertainment to study nutritional sciences, before returning to film in 2021. Destini has training in Tae Kwon Do, Escrima, fight choreography and studies at Anthony Gilardi Acting Studio in Hollywood, California.
