[observation about current trends in country music, 2014] It's definitely pushing boundaries. I've heard a couple of people who couldn't manage one Merle Haggard song. As time goes on, the people who blazed the trail are going to fade more and more. I think that's the nature of time going by and things progressing. It makes me sad because my generation was influenced by that previous generation.
