Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Jason discovered his passion for acting early on. After graduating from college, he moved to New York City to pursue his dream, studying acting and performing in a series of Off-Broadway one-act plays. During one of these performances, his talent caught the attention of a prominent Los Angeles manager, who persuaded him to head west.
Shortly after relocating to Los Angeles, Jason landed a role in a film alongside the Olsen Twins. While on location in Park City, he became captivated by the process of filmmaking. This newfound fascination led him into producing and directing short films and music videos before joining Zucker Productions as an in-house creative.
In 2007, Jason started the internet comedy company National Banana with legendary director Jerry Zucker. This culminated in the production of a pilot for TBS, Already In Progress. Though the pilot did not go to series, Jason took a bold step forward, acquiring the sound stage where the show had been filmed and launching his own studio business. After four successful years, he sold the business and became the Creative Director at Thunder Studios, a start-up studio in Long Beach.
Since then, Jason has continued to create, producing web series for major brands like Toyota, working with eSports teams on their content strategies, and developing various projects of his own.
