Biography

Jay Saumik Joshi is an Indian actor and casting associate. He was seen in the highly celebrated show Mahabharat that aired in 2013 on star Plus. In Mahabharat, a mythological show based on the great Indian epic of the same name, he was seen playing the role of Satanika, Pandav prince Nakul's son. He was one of the uppandavs. In 2015, he was spotted in the show Siyasaat, where he played the role of Khusaru. This show was aired on the EPIC channel (now on Amazon). He was also a part of a Disney show Best of Luck Nikki in 2013. He also played several cameo roles in Sab TV's comedy show Khidki. Apart from this, he was a part of the movie Satyamev Jayate, where he played the character of Aslam. He played the character of Abhishek, a professional hacker, in the show Rangbaaz streaming on ZEE5.

Also, he has been working as a casting associate with acclaimed casting director, Kavish Sinha. He has worked in the casting department of many popular hindi web-series, such as Rocket boys, Undekhi, Code-M, Avrodh, and Duranga.
