Blake Slatkin

Los Angeles native, Blake Slatkin, was born on October 16, 1997. His parents introduced a guitar to him when he was ten years old. Slatkin began his internship with music recording producer, Benny Blanco, at age sixteen. He moved to New York City to attend New York University. Slatkin professionally worked as a songwriter and producer with Omar Apollo and Gracie Abrams during his time of being the university's student. He served as an executive producer for their projects due to them being newcomers. He returned to Los Angeles to work full time in music studios after dropping out of New York University. His most recent project has been co-writing the song "Zoo" with Ed Sheeran and Shakira for the soundtrack of Disney's Zootopie 2 (2025).
