Biography

Jim Rathmann is a true-crime investigator that works to bring closure to families with challenging and complex cases. Jim has been the lead talent and investigator for Investigation Discovery's hit TV documentary - Joe Exotic: Tigers, Lies & Coverup. Jim has worked with numerous networks to include Investigation Discovery, Discovery +, SundanceTV, AMC +, Viaplay among many others. Aside from doing on television investigations, Jim really enjoys acting and is looking to take on more serious roles in the film industry. Jim formerly worked in the United States Secret Service under then President Barack Obama administration. Jim learned his investigative skills while serving as a detective on the outskirts of Baton Rouge, Louisiana prior to going to the Secret Service. Jim is a decorated war hero who earned a Bronze Star in combat (Afghanistan) while serving as a Captain with the 82nd Airborne. Jim played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU) and won the 2003 BCS National Championship under head coach Nick Saban.
