Born in the Chicago area to Italian immigrants, (his mother from Rome, his father from Sicily), Nino Cimino grew up working at his family's Italian restaurant.
In 2001, in his early twenties, Nino moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of being an actor. After studying acting for 2 years at the Promenade Playhouse under Piero Dusa, Nino began auditioning, booking the first ever commercial audition that he went out for.
Shortly after graduating from acting school, Nino started his own production company, Cimino Productions. Through Cimino Productions, Nino is able to write and produce material that he can act in. Known mostly for playing "Nick Romano" in the American Mobster movie franchise, 2010's American Mobster: Miami Shakedown and 2021's American Mobster: Retribution, Nino has made multiple films of all different genres, in which he writes, produces, and acts in the films. One film of note was the 2021 Holiday movie "A Wiseguy Christmas", which was nominated for Best Picture Comedy at the Santa Clarita International Film Festival.
Nino has a daughter named Marley, that he co-parents with Marley's mother. Marley spends half her time living in Florida with her mother and half her time living in Los Angeles with Nino. Already seeing Marley's natural talent for performing, (Marley has acted in a couple movies herself), Nino hopes to one day act with his daughter in a film.
