Biography

    • Pawan Shyoran is an Indian actor who has worked in films in Hindi, Rajasthani, as well as German and French languages. He was born and raised in a farmer's family in Rajasthan, India. After completing his Bachelor of Science, he became involved in theatre in Jaipur and pursued a postgraduate diploma in drama from the University of Rajasthan. Following this, he earned a master's degree with a specialization in acting and completed his Ph.D. with a research thesis on "A Comparative Analysis of Stanislavski's and Bharata's Acting Theories." He worked as an assistant professor of drama for four years in Ethiopia.

      During his drama studies, he starred in his first film, "Dark Zone," where he portrayed a character struggling with water scarcity. The film was highly acclaimed at film festivals, and Pawan Shyoran's vibrant performance received even greater praise. He played the role of a determined teacher exploring new teaching methods and the reasons for student disinterest in the film "Blackboards and Scarecrows," directed by Ramesh Asher for Films Division, Government of India.

      On stage, he has delivered memorable performances in numerous plays. Whether it was his portrayal of King Mahendra Singh in the play "Darakte-Rishte" at the Istropolitana Festival in Slovakia or Inspector Khare in the play "Andhe-Chuhe" as part of the University of Rajasthan's Dramatic Department's Daily Theatre Project, Pawan Shyoran has elevated the craft of acting to new heights.

      Always willing to embrace challenging roles, Pawan Shyoran has been continuously working as an actor for the past 20 years in national and international theatre festivals and films.
