‘Owning Manhattan’ Renewed For Second Season At Netflix
Image
Netflix has ordered a second season of Owning Manhattan, the real estate series starring Ryan Serhant.

The show looks at the glamorous, adrenaline-filled universe of high-stakes real estate in New York City. Cameras follow Serhant as he builds his brokerage and pursues the city’s most exclusive luxury listings. The broker and CEO is joined by an ambitious army of agents on a mission to become the world’s No. 1 brokerage.

Owning Manhattan Season 1 consisted of eight episodes and was produced by World of Wonder Productions. It reached the Top 10 TV in 30 countries and spent two weeks in the Top 10 TV in the United States.

In many ways, it feels soothingly similar to the slew of other popular real estate reality fare like Selling Sunset and Buying Beverly Hills: luxury listing porn, feuding peacocking agents, high-stakes sales. But with its soaring orchestra score, documentary-style filmmaking and Serhant’s outsized, time-tested personality, it offers a polished, insider’s look into Serhant’s new real estate agency, named, of course, Serhant.

“Ryan gives good TV because he is good TV,...
