Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Cristiane Ehrlich (aka Cristiane Agapito Gomes) has been residing in London for two decades and speaks two languages fluently.
Raised on a combination of Brazilian film and American Culture, she fell in love with cinema watching works of Steven Spielberg and the Hollywood Golden Age. However, she also developed an early love for English filmmaker, the master of suspense, Sir Alfred Hitchcock.
Cristiane Ehrlich has a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Media focused in Screenwriting from the Birkbeck University of London and a Master's Degree in filmmaking from Raindance & De Montfort University with an emphasis in Film Directing.
Over the last couple of years, she has written/directed and co-produced her debut short Disarm. She is now working on her second short film, The Giving Box, and writing a script for her feature film debut.
Her short film Disarm has been showcased in the film festival circuit, winning awards in the 4th Dimension Independent Film Festival; London Indie Short Festival to name a few. It was also part of the Raindance Film Festival Official Selection in 2021.
She is also the Director of Ehrlich Film Production.
