Sándor M. Salas (Seville, Spain, 1983) is graduated in Editing and Digital Post-Production at Escuela Andaluza de Cinematografía (EAC). His work as a director includes different disciplines such as video art, creative documentary and experimental cinema. He has previously directed the short film 'In my skin' (2022), premiered internationally at Krakow Film Festival, awarded at 13th CSFF China International New Media Short Film Festival and selected in more than 40 festivals, the video essay 'Seismic silence' (2020), premiered and awarded at Seville European Film Festival, the feature-length film 'Maese' (2020), the short films 'Finis Gloriae Mundi' (2017) and 'A musical experience of coexistence' (2016) and also the video art pieces 'El hombre hueco' (2013) and 'De cara a la muerte' (2013), selected in festivals like Indy Shorts, FICG, Alcances, DocsMX, Alcine, Bogoshorts, FIVA, Proyector, Video Art Miden, Atlantidoc and at The Carmen Awards presented by Andalusian Film Academy. He is co-founder of the production company Anandor Producciones with Ana Cinta Alonso.
