Oliver Welke is a German television presenter, journalist, satirist, comedian, and voice actor. He studied journalism at the University of Münster, graduating in 1993. Welke gained prominence as the host of the satirical news program heute-show, which he has led since 2009. He has also co-written scripts for films like Der WiXXer and provided German voiceovers for shows such as Little Britain. In addition to his television work, Welke has authored books and contributed to various radio programs. He is married, has two children, and resides in the Rhineland.
