Created the production company Yellow Sun Films to produce the feature films "Starting from Scratch" (2013), "1st Date" (2015), "Get You Back" (2017) and several short films including the viral short "Chinese Hi-Five" which has over 23 Million views on Youtube. James' family surnames are Huang which translates to 'Yellow' and 'Sun' which make the company name.

Joined the Screen Actors Guild from an episode of Law & Order starring Jerry Orbach and Jesse Martin (1999).
