Goh Wee Ping

Goh Wee Ping is a Malaysian-born Chinese news anchor, television host, emcee and actor. Articulate and presentable, he has been in the broadcasting and entertainment industry for two decades. The experiences that he has accumulated over the years have opened many more doors for his career. He was also the first mandarin speaking host chosen in the world for internationally renowned syndicated game show 'Deal Or No Deal' in 2007. He is permanent host for one of 8tv's longest running talk show 'Living Delight', Wee Ping is probably the only TV personality in Malaysia who has encompassed all aspects of TV programming.
Apart from that, Goh has tried out acting, and 2010 sees Wee Ping moving on to a whole new realm in TV production - the TV drama production. After his cameo appearance in ntv7's 2009 'Timeless Season', he was chosen to play the leading role in 2010's Age of Glory II as a scholar.
With two major roles within a year and numerous cameo appearances, it was no surprise Wee Ping caught the attention of Singapore MediaCorp (M) Studios and cast him for a significant role in 'Destiny In Her Hands', pairing with MediaCorp's A-List actress Jeanette Aw in year 2011, just one year into his acting career. He subsequently played his first ever villain role in 'The Dark Sunset' and surprised everyone with his flexibility. The role received rave reviews from the industry as well as audiences and fans alike. In 2012, he also starred in Media Corp's 'Mining Magnet' together with Frederick Lee and Debbie Goh.
The year 2012 was the year Wee Ping set foot in movie productions, playing cameo roles in three movies including 'The Wedding Diary II' by Ah Niu. However, the real breakthrough came in 2014 when he embarked on international movie production, joining China's actress Zhang Jing Chu, Taiwan's actor Peter Ho, Korea's actor Kim Yong Min in China's first own 3D production 'Honeymoon Hotel', with renowned Korean director Jang Cheol-Soo.
