Biography

Sam Toles is a media and technology executive and executive producer with credits traversing feature film, scripted and unscripted television, social media and non-traditional media. He's served in diverse roles, including Chief Content Officer at Bleacher Report, the world's most engaged sports media brand and SVP, Digital Media at Metro Goldwyn Mayer. At MGM, Toles oversaw the development and production of several high profile projects including a new Stargate series and a re-imagined "Mr. Mom", Vudu's first commissioned Original Series. Sam's led programming for multiple streaming platforms, including Vimeo, where Toles built a portfolio of content offerings, launching that platform's original programming efforts including "High Maintenance" and "How To With John Wilson" (both becoming HBO series). Toles has acquired, overseen, and executive produced projects that have been nominated for an Academy Award (Vimeo Original Pear Cider and Cigarettes), multiple Primetime Emmy and Sports Emmy Awards, and in 2020 Bleacher Report won the prestigious "Best In Sports Media Award" from Sports Business Journal recognizing the outstanding efforts the company has achieved in content.
