Mo finally visits Palestine in season 2 after an emotional journey that had us in tears too (Final season review)
Image
It's great to have Mo back on our screens, even if the comedy-drama only lasted for two seasons. The titular character's infectious energy rubs off on you and makes for an interesting watch where you're invested in the character. The series has come to an end with the final eight episodes on Netflix, and here's what we thought about Mo season 2 overall. Spoilers Below.

First thing's first. Yes, we do think Mo season 2 is definitely worth your time to watch! It's a really well done show that not only represents the Palestinian and Arab culture, but other groups as well. It's such a nice blend of cultures that educates, but entertains with the comedic aspect of the show at the same time. The series is timely not only with the fact that Mo is Palestinian, but also American politics as he is arrested by Ice after crossing...

Pushpa 2: Netflix’s Reloaded Extra Scenes, Explained: Did Pushpa Go To Japan?
Image
Producers, artists, critics, and even cinephiles keep claiming that movies aren’t working theatrically because of the length. Yet, the most successful Indian film of 2024, Pushpa 2: The Rule, had a whopping runtime of 200 minutes, i.e., 3 hours and 20 minutes. In fact, it was such a massive box office hit that Sukumar and Mythri Movie Makers decided to re-release it, with a “Reloaded” tag attached to the original title. Now, I was very skeptical about it because the “extended cut” of movies like Pathaan, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, and Jawan barely added anything to their narratives and made bold claims about giving audiences a brand new viewing experience. Based on the trailer for Pushpa 2, I knew that there were several formerly deleted scenes, and I assumed that they’d add up to a maximum of 10 minutes of additional runtime. So, you can imagine how surprised I was...

‘The Old Man’ Season 2 Episode 1 Recap: Did Chase And Harper Find Faraz Hamzad?
Image
The second season of FX’s The Old Man has premiered with two action-packed, compact episodes, as we find former CIA operative Dan Chase and FBI assistant director Harold Harper trying their level best to find and rescue Emily from the clutches of terrifying Afghan warlord Faraz Hamzad. In the final moments of the previous season, it was revealed that Emily’s real identity is Parwana, and that she is the daughter of Belour and Faraz Hamzad. Chase, who was a former accomplice of Hamzad during the tumultuous Russian occupation of Afghanistan in the 80s, had helped Belour escape from Afghanistan, and they had taken a young Parwana with them as well, giving her a new identity, Emily Chase, erasing her past in a sense. Later on, Emily was appointed as an FBI agent by Chase and Harold’s mentor, Morgan Bote—unbeknownst to Harold, who guided her as a mentor.

Image
The FX thriller drama series The Old Man is back to business after a considerably long break with its 2nd season. A former CIA operative, Dan Chase, had to leave his cover behind when a nemesis from his time in Afghanistan, the warlord named Faraz Hamzad, was back to exact revenge. The many complications in this weird family drama, with a coat of spy thriller, are now at the center of The Old Man season 2, and the stakes are raised in the two premiere episodes streaming this week.

Spoiler Alert
