Biography

    • Historical figure in the Italian theater as critic and author. Auxiliary Ego in TV series Da Storia Nasce Storia (1991) by Ottavio Rosati. Piero Ferrero was born in Turin on April 30th 1934 from the Valsusina family. For many years he devoted himself to teaching then, in 1975, Giorgio Balmas called him to work for "Settembre Musica" to the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Turin. Subsequently, Piero Ferrero began his collaboration with the Teatro Stabile di Torino: first as Cultural Director of the Study Center and then, after a short period at the Press Office, as "dramaturg". A great lover of theater, both prose and music, a charming and informed conversationalist, with a few well-chosen jokes he was able to construct vitreous fulminating portraits. Ferrero was also a charming writer. Among his novels: 'Letters to the Romans', 'L'onta', 'Il disgusto'.
