Biography

1 of 5 kids, Leah Morgan was born in the tiny, freezing, town of Westford, VT to a large military family that moved from coast to coast. Leah has loved story telling for as long as she can remember. She partook in numerous local theatrical productions and took online high school her senior year to understudy the "CityDance Co" in Rockville, MD.

Leah studied film, theater, screenwriting, and dance at CalArts, The Second City Chicago, Shari Shaw Studios, Elaine Craig VO, Erica Bream & CCR Co Star Class, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and RB Studio Productions. Leah was a Filmmatic Finalist for her script DATING WHILE DYING in 2020 which earned top scoring on THE BLACK LIST, was a casting assistant for the Stephen King BOOGEYMAN feature in 2021, had her sketch comedy PUNAHOLICS ANONYMOUS performed live on stage at The Second City Chicago in June 2023, and just wrapped her role as Adrienne in Molly Smith Metzler's (Shameless, Orange Is The New Black, The Maid) CRY IT OUT play at the Moxie Theater in September 2023.

Leah is a deeply grateful AHUS/Hemodialysis survivor, active duty NAVY spouse, Mother to a giant, sweet, clutz of a German Shepherd named Zelda, and an avid consumer of comedy who believes you can sneak into most parties by claiming you know a Mike. In her downtime, you can find Leah hiking, taking dance class, reading, attending stand up comedy, cooking, playing acoustic guitar, and attempting to maintain her streak on wordle.
