The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday announced the names of those set to receive a star on the streets of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street as part of the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“The Young and the Restless” star Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman), Sarah Michelle Gellar and Demi Moore (“General Hospital”) were among the names unveiled as part of the class of 2026, a list comprising of 35 individuals overall in the categories of recordings, motion pictures, television, live theater/live performance and sports entertainment.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced a slate of 35 famed individuals who will receive their own stars on Wednesday, including Emily Blunt, Rachel McAdams, Gordon Ramsey, Rami Malek, Stanley Tucci and Angélique Kidjo, among others.

Honorees were chosen across five varying categories, including motion pictures, television, live theater/live performance, recording and sports entertainment. Notably, O’Neal was the only member inducted into the class of 2026 from the latter division.

Now 83, Streisand is releasing “The Secret Of Life: Partners, Volume Two,” a collection of duets with Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Laufey, Hozier, Sam Smith, James Taylor, Sting, Tim McGraw and Josh Groban. Both Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey join her on “One Heart, One Voice.”

“The Secret of Life” comes not even two years after she published her massive 970-page memoir, “My Name Is Barbra,” which was accompanied by 48-hour audiobook that she read. She is also in production of a multi-part documentary about her life directed by Frank Marshall.

Brian Avnet, the respected personal manager and music executive who discovered Josh Groban, collaborated with David Foster and helped The Manhattan Transfer to great success, has died. He was 82.

Avnet died May 14 at his home in Los Angeles after a years-long battle with Parkinson’s disease, a publicist announced.

The Baltimore native also worked closely with the likes of Johnny Mandel, Herb Alpert and Lani Hall, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Cyndi Lauper, Take 6, Jean-Luc Ponty, Eric Benét and Joshua Ledet.

Avnet began working with The Manhattan Transfer in 1979, and two years later the vocal group became the first to win Grammys in the pop and jazz categories in the same year, earning trophies for “The Boy From New York City” and “Until I Met You (Corner Pocket).”

“Brian was an excellent manager and like a brother to me,” Manhattan Transfer founding member Alan Paul said in a statement.

One late-night TV star may be moving around his hours to join daytime TV. A former Daily Show correspondent is reportedly on the short list to replace outgoing talk show host Kelly Clarkson.

Rumors suggest Clarkson would like to step away from her NBC talk show, leaving the network with a hole to fill in its daily lineup. The singer began The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2019 and has hosted over 1,000 episodes at this point.

So, who does NBC have on its radar? According to sources at The New York Post, former Daily Show correspondent Roy Wood, Jr. is on the list.

Wood has experience with daytime talk and more specifically, The Kelly Clarkson Show 's timeslot. The comedian guest hosted the show multiple times over the years, so NBC knows what it would be getting by giving Wood his own show.

The New York Post's source also listed the potential competition for Wood.

ABC has announced the lineup of superstar guests for its upcoming Season 23 finale, and the Top 14 are among them. The Final 5 contestants — Breanna Nix, Jamal Roberts, John Foster, Slater Nalley, and Thunderstorm Artis — will appear alongside the nine most recently eliminated artists: Gabby Samone, Mattie Pruitt, Josh King, Canaan James Hill, Kolbi Jordan, Ché Chesterman, Filo, Amanda Barise, and Desmond Roberts.

The three judges — Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, and Lionel Richie — will sing a showstopping number together, and "Artist in Residence" Jelly Roll will deliver a performance in addition to his role as the season finale mentor. Luke and Lionel joined ABC's reality TV show in 2018, while this marks Carrie's first time sitting at the judges' table after previously winning Season 4.

The season 13 Finals of the hit Fox singing competition series aired on Wednesday night (May 7).

The show, which began in South Korea, features celebrities singing songs while wearing costumes and face masks concealing their identities until they’re eliminated. Throughout the season, the contestants provide clues to try and help the judges and fans figure out who is under the mask.

This season includes the new costumed character Detective Lucky Duck, who will help panelists “uncover who’s behind each mask.”

During the episode, Top Four contestants Boogie Woogie, Mad Scientist Monster, Pearl, and Coral hit the stage for another performance.

While on stage, Boogie Woogie performed “Freedom! 90″ by George Michael.

The case of Detective Lucky Duck was finally quacked on Wednesday’s episode of Fox’s “The Masked Singer.” Taika Waititi was the latest celebrity to be revealed on Season 13 of Fox’s “The Masked Singer,” playing the mysterious character that had popped up all season long on the show to share clues about the competition’s costumed contestants.

Lucky Duck appeared at the end of this week’s semi-finals episode, and instead of letting the show’s panelists guess his identity, he unmasked himself. And it was a familiar face for one of the show’s panelists: Waititi is husband to the show’s Rita Ora.

“Semi-Finals Night” brought together the final five contestants standing: Group A’s Coral, Group B’s Pearl and Boogie Woogie and Group C’s Mad Scientist Monster.

Prolific director Guy Ritchie has officially signed on to direct Road House 2, Amazon MGM Studios' followup to the Jake Gyllenhaal-led action hit. Ritchie takes over from Doug Liman, who left the franchise acrimoniously when Amazon sent Road House straight to streaming instead of giving it a theatrical release. It will be Ritchie and Gyllenhaal's third collaboration, following Guy Ritchie's The Covenant and the upcoming In the Grey. The script is by Will Beall (Bad Boys: Ride or Die).
