Robin Le Normand

Robin Le Normand is a professional footballer who plays as a defensive center-back for LaLiga club Atlético Madrid and the Spain national football team. Prior to transferring to Atleti in July 2024, Le Normand played for Real Sociedad, debuting for the first team on November 26, 2018, and making a total of 167 appearances during his time at the Basque club. He was born in Pabu, France, but after living in Spain for almost seven years, he was granted Spanish Council of Ministers in May 2023. As a naturalized citizen, he became eligible to play for the Spanish national team, making his debut during the 2023 UEFA Nations League Semi-Finals against Italy in June. Le Normand played in both the Semi-Finals and Finals, being a part of the Spain squad that ultimately won the nation's first UEFA Nations League title. He was also a part of the Spain squad that won the UEFA European Championship in 2024.
