Leigh Whannell's 'Wolf Man' Gets a 55% Rotten Tomatoes Score
Image
The wolf has come out to play, and some horror fans are not interested. However, others have found a deeper meaning to Leigh Whannell's recently released Wolf Man, a reimagining of a Universal monster classic. While Whannell had already prepared himself for criticism and hate of his wolf-transformation film, the film is proving to be extremely divisive among horror fans.

Sitting at 55% on the Tomatometer and 65% on the Popcornmeter, it seems that the Universal Pictures werewolf flick has divided fans and critics alike. As of right now, Wolf Man might be another example of how flashy advertising, unique screenings, and stunning practical effects can only take a story so far in the hearts of audiences.

Sony Made a Major Error With its Own Product Placement in Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web
Image
Sony’s Madame Web opened recently in cinemas and as expected from the trailers, widely received negative reviews. The film featured Dakota Johnson as the titular Madame Web alongside Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, and Isabella Merced as various versions of Spider-Women. The film is part of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe a.k.a the Ssu.

While Madame Web was expected to be bad based on the trailers, fans who ended up going for the film could not believe that the film was much worse than their expectations. The film reportedly made a huge blunder even while placing their own product in a scene. A YouTuber pointed out that the Sony PSP shown in the film could not have existed as the film is set in 2003 while the device came out in 2005. Spoilers ahead for the film.

The film industry has been fascinated by its colorful worlds and obsession with detail, to the point where it has gone viral on social media. Asteroid City, his next film, thus has high demands to meet with the director in the spotlight.

Set in 1955, the film follows a group of students and parents gathered for an academic competition, some rest and relaxation at the Junior Stargazer convention. Without imagining that they will live the adventure of their lives in what seemed like a simple retreat.
