Jeffrey Lee Woods

After being stationed aboard an icebreaker in the U.S. Coast Guard, Jeffrey ended up in Los Angeles where he studied acting at the Estelle Harmon Workshop. He later moved to New York and enrolled at the New Actors Workshop that was helmed by Mike Nichols and George Morrison. After years of performing in Off Broadway shows and independent films Jeffrey turned his attention to writing and directing. He later interned in the equipment room at Film and Video Arts in exchange for some film classes and the use of film equipment. His first short film The Caretaker ( co-written and directed by Nick Goulding) screened at the New Filmmakers series at Anthology Fim Archives in New York.
