Biography

Reshel Mae, born on June 22, 1999 in San Jose, California, is an Asian American Actress and Voice Talent represented by Acclaim Talent. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a major in Theater. She is best known for voicing Yuki Suou in Alya Sometimes Hides her Feelings in Russian, Ivy in the Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash, and Lishu in The Apothecary Diaries anime series.

Before becoming passionate about the performing arts, Mae studied Kung Fu Martial Arts at Sifu Meng's Kung Fu Academy for 4 years prior to entering secondary school, where she continued for another 2 years. At Milpitas High School, Mae was involved in dance and athletics such as Powderpuff, Trojan Olympics, and other cultural events, as well as school plays and musicals. She joined the Drama department's revival of the Thespian Society, in which drama students form a troupe to represent the school. Mae served as club President during her senior year and is now a Thespian Alumna.

After graduating high school, Mae moved to Texas and attended Central Texas College to further her theater acting training. She remained active in school productions and talent showcases which piqued the interest of a scouting agent. In the year of 2021, Mae debuted into the film industry starting with commercials and later branching into feature films. Since then Mae has worked with notable brands such as Samsung, Stanley, Mad Tasty, Dell Alienware, and IG Lite. After graduating from CTC, Mae further pursued education in theater and attended the University of North Texas.

Prior to joining the Crunchyroll streaming platform as an English-dub Voice Actor in 2021, Mae worked as a freelancer in the VO industry since 2018. Mae has provided the English-language voices of various roles for a plethora of independent studios creating animated content for Youtube as well as video games on the Steam platform.
