Annika Marks is an actor, writer and producer, best known as Monte Porter on Freeform's "The Fosters." As a writer, she has developed original shows and written for numerous production companies, studios and networks, including Lionsgate, Sony, NBC-Universal, Peacock, Tribeca, Paramount+ and Hallmark. Her first feature, "Killing Eleanor," which she wrote, produced and starred in, premiered at the 2020 SCAD Savannah Film Festival, where it won Best Narrative Feature. Her follow-up feature, "Adult Children," premiered at the 2025 Bentonville Film Festival, where it won a Special Jury Award for Best Ensemble, followed by its international premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh, where it won Best Independent International Film. Marks is an alumni of the Women In Film Mentoring Program and is a current Climate Storytelling Fellow through NRDC's Re-Write the Future project, with her feature "The Tipping Point."
