The official website of Dorohedoro anime revealed a new update for the second season of the anime on Jan 12, 2025. This new update marked the fifth anniversary of the anime’s original broadcast.

The new update in question is a brand new teaser visual, which comprises the storyboard from the sequels scattered throughout.

Additionally, the teaser visual also confirmed that Dorohedoro Season 2 will be releasing in 2025.

Via the official website, the popular dark fantasy anime series Dorohedoro will return in 2025. "It has been five years since the TV anime Dorohedoro was broadcast on Jan. 12, 2020!" the new update reads. "To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the broadcast, the second teaser visual for the sequel series has been released!" The official Dorohedoro anime X (formerly Twitter) account revealed that the anime would be receiving a sequel series, also teasing audiences with a fresh visual, seen below.
