Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was a wildly successful return to director Tim Burton's movie franchise, and the possibilities for a third Beetlejuice film are endless. The chances of Burton making another Beetlejuice movie are high, especially given the second installment's incredible box office run and reviews. Also, since the second film ended with Lydia Deetz still haunted by Betelgeuse, the door has indeed been left open for a sequel following her ongoing experiences with the mischievous bio-exorcist.
While it's anybody's guess what a third Beetlejuice movie would present, it needs to have a distinctive, new take on the franchise to justify its existence and stand out to audiences. However, one small character in the second Beetlejuice movie's cast already shows what the sequel should be about: Christmas. Not only did Beetlejuice Beetlejuice show what a holiday-themed sequel would look like, but it would satisfy fans of another Tim Burton classic: The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Warning! This article contains spoilers for Heartstopper season 3.
Heartstopper season 3 centers once more on its central relationships, with Nick and Charlie's taking a more mature direction that sets up big stories for season 4. The show's new season focused heavily on Charlie and Nick's relationship, though not without losing the beautiful sense of community Heartstopper is known for. From Charlie and Nick telling each other they love each other to thinking about the next steps in their lives decorated by Heartstopper's signature animated moments, the show still keeps the core group mostly together.
However, Heartstopper season 3's ending is different in the sense of maturity it possesses. While Heartstopper's feel-good needle drops and funny moments are prevalent, the exploration of mental health, LGBTQ+ identities, and the overall troubles of life are explored in a thought-provoking way. Leading on nicely from Heartstopper season 2's ending, season 3's story keeps the stories of Nick,...

Roald Dahl himself prevented a Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory sequel due to his dislike of the original film adaptation. Dahl thought Gene Wilder's portrayal of Willy Wonka was too soft and believed there was something wrong with the character's soul in the movie. Despite conflicting reports about Dahl's feelings towards the original film, his strong dislike may have led him to deny the rights for Charlie and the Glass Elevator to be adapted.
Due to the immense success of the film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, a sequel might appear to have been an obvious choice. However, there is one particular obstacle that prevented its production. British author, Roald Daul, has been aptly dubbed one of the greatest storytellers of the 20th century, and he is responsible for the creation of many children's hits, including The Bfg, Matilda, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
