Prime Video Germany Unveils Stacked Slate Featuring ‘Perfectly Missed’ Sequel Series & Denis Gansel Films

Prime Video Germany has unveiled a major 2025/26 slate at an event at the Balloni Halls in Cologne today.

Set against the backdrop of a mass evacuation of parts of the city following the discovery of unexploded World War II bombs, the Prime Video Presents event revealed a new project with comic actors Anke Engelke and Bastian Pastewka, a remake of adventure reality show The Summit, which we revealed earlier this hour, and Season 7 of Lol: Last One Laughing Germany among its highlights.

A new film from Denis Gansel, The Prototype (working title) was unveiled, and, as we’ve just reported, the premiere date for Maxton Hall – The World Between Us Season 2 was also revealed to be November 7. Several other films and shows were greenlit – read on for full details.

From Writer/Director Jason Brown (Ghost Track) comes his latest terror ride…Creep Encounters which has been released through Devilworks and is out now on Digital Platforms in the UK/USA with more platforms to follow.

Creep Encounters stars Kansas Bowling, Tamara Glynn, Sophie Bullock (Repeat), Katie Richmond-Ward and Darren Randall.

Synopsis:

When an unknown alien force threatens a high school, the teachers team up to fight back against the invaders, in an attempt to stop an otherworldly parasite from escaping and taking over the World.

Creep Encounters opens at the site where a UFO has made a crash landing. The government is claiming that it’s a small plane that crashed and is trying to clean things up as quickly as possible. That becomes a bit more complicated when a spider-like alien escapes and bites a few soldiers before disappearing into the woods.

Meanwhile, at nearby Creek High, most of the students haven’t shown up, apparently because their parents believe the rumour going around that it was a UFO, not a small plane, that crashed. Devilworks launches four genre features for AFM including road trip ‘An American Masquerade’ (exclusive)

UK-based genre specialist Devilworks has added five titles to its slate ahead of next month’s American Film Market.

Devilworks is attending the first Las Vegas-based AFM in-person, and will be based at the Palms Casino Resort Fantasy Tower.

Its new titles include An American Masquerade, an Australian road movie that sees two failed actors transport drugs across the American West. The film is directed and produced by Jasmine Jakupi and Addison Heath, and stars Dylan Heath, Yoji Yamada and Elissa Dowling.

Also from Australia is Tim Pine’s Spithood, in which a patient escapes a mental asylum and begins a killing spree.
