Raised in Carobinha, in Rio de Janeiro, actor and comedian Yuri Marçal began his career at the age of 19, when he enrolled in the Theater and TV course at Escola de Atores Wolf Maya. In 2016, Yuri was already successfully inserted in the comedy and stand-up comedy universe. In 2019, he premiered his comedy show called "Acendam as Luzes". Today the actor accumulates several projects between theatre, cinema and streaming. On screen, he is in the film "Barraco de Família", directed by Mauricio Eça.
He also acts in the series "Homens" (2019), created and starring Fábio Porchat. Online, Yuri Marçal presented the talk show "Cá Entre Nós", by Uol. The actor participates in several productions of the Porta dos Fundos channel, such as "Escritor Branco" and "Despedida de Solteira". Yuri is also part of the Guetto collective, along with Romarinho Ferreira, Jhordan Matheus and Felipe Kot.
For Amazon Prime Video, Yuri filmed three different shows in 2021. He is on the series "Uncoupled in Rio", directed by Anne and Olívia Guimarães; on one of the episodes of "5x Comedy", produced by Dueto and also in the reality show "LOL: Last One Laughing Brazil".
