Kiran Vairale married and left India to settle in New York where she lives with her husband Fahd (Dilip Kumar sister Taj's son ) and son Asad. Since 22 years she runs Adnet Advertising which counts among America's leading immigration-based recruitment advertising agencies.

Now known as Kiran Mumtaz.

After she moved to the US she continued her association with the performing arts. In 1984 she participated in the grand Festival of India in New York, where Vijaya Mehta directed a play on women heroes. Later she collaborated on a community service film with an organization named Sakhi that creates awareness about domestic abuse. It was a small film for which Zakir Hussain had donated the music. It tells you how abuse is not merely physical, it extends to verbal and mental cruelty which are things you do not see.'.

Her journey into the field of acting started in 1972 when she was in Class X. Those days she used to graduate from school in Class XI. The first memory she had of Farooque Sahab is of this really, really good looking guy who was waiting to meet our principal outside the office. He was to direct a play for them. A while later, he came to their class and asked if any of them would like to act. This was a 45-minute one-act play, and although she was not particularly interested, she joined a big group of friends who went to audition.'To her surprise, she was selected for the lead role.

Kiran's husband Syed sister's are Rubaina Mumtaz Khan and Johaina Mumtaz Khan. Rubaina was formerly married to actor Mazhar Khan. They had a son Azhar Khan who is now a Hollywood actor. He has acted in the TV serial, Mr.Robot. Mazhar later went on to marry Zeenat Aman. The other sister of Syed, Johaina was married to actor Ronit Roy. They have a daughter named Ona Roy. Johaina went on to marry Jamal and has a son named Zayed .

Parents names are Madhusudan Atmaram Vairale ( former politician) and Vijayalakshmi.

Brother named Chandrashekhar Vairale.
