Netflix held it’s annual global fan event, Tudum Live on Saturday evening (May 31) and it was quite the star-studded affair.

The big event was held at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif., with tons of Netflix stars from both scripted and unscripted programming, including Jenna Ortega, Kerry Washington and Sofia Carson, who served as the host of the evening!

The streamer announced on Thursday that the event will feature first looks, trailers, news and announcements for upcoming original films and shows like Snyder’s sci-fi epic “Rebel Moon,” “Bridgerton,” “Queen Charlotte,” “The Witcher,” “Squid Game,” “Wednesday,” “You,” “Emily in Paris,” “Stranger Things” and “3 Body Problem.”

Netflix has officially announced the details for the fast-approaching 2023 iteration of Tudum: A Global Fan Event.

This year's Tudum is set to take place on Saturday, June 17, with the event livestreaming from São Paulo, Brazil starting at 1:30 p.m. Pt/4:30 p.m. Et/5:30pm Brt. Fans will be able to tune in at YouTube.com/Netflix for "exclusive news," as well as "never-before-seen footage, trailers, and first looks of your favorite series, films and games." To that end, a number of Netflix actors and creatives will appear live in Brazil, including Chris Hemsworth for Extraction, Gal Gadot for Heart of Stone, Henry Cavill for The Witcher and Zack Snyder for Rebel Moon, not to mention the entire main cast of the upcoming live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Netflix’s first attempt at live programming, Chris Rock’s “Selective Outrage,” went off almost without a hitch. Its second try, a live-reunion special for popular reality-dating series “Love Is Blind,” did not.

The “Love Is Blind: Live Reunion” was set to stream live at 8 p.m. Et/5 p.m. Pt. An IndieWire employee was ready to watch, but his web browser rerouted from his Netflix queue to an error message reading: “Pardon the interruption. We’re having trouble playing Netflix. Please check your internet and try again.” After refreshing, the error message remained for the next 30 minutes. By then, like probably many, he gave up and watched “Succession.”

Hosts Vanessa Lachey posted an Instagram video with her husband and Love Is Blind co-host Nick Lachey around 8:30 p.m. Et, saying, “Everybody broke the internet to see this reunion. So we are ready to roll. We just got to figure this out. We’re getting everything to work.”
