Clairo will no longer perform at Primavera Sound 2025. In a statement to fans, the musician cited complications with logistics related to building out her set at the Barcelona-based music festival.
“There are some logistical issues with getting my show to/from Primavera that have forced my hand here,” Clairo wrote. “I never want to give my fans anything but the absolute best set I can do, and that won’t be possible at this time. I’m so sorry again and I hope to be able to make it up to you sooner than later.

It’s Bonnaroo’s turn to unveil its 2025 lineup, and what a weird and wonderful collection of artists they’ve brought together to perform at the Manchester, Tennessee, music festival from June 12th to 15th.
Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler, the Creator, Hozier, and Luke Combs top the 2025 bill, but it’s the undercard where the magic really lies. Notable names include Queens of the Stone Age, Megadeth, Justice, Avril Lavigne, Tyla, Goose, Modest Mouse, Glass Animals, Beabadoobee, Mj Lenderman, The Lemon Twigs, Raye, Foster the People, Jpegmafia, Nelly, Jack’s Mannequin, Natasha Bedingfield, Marcus King, Royel Otis, and Mannequin Pussy. Plus, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will be playing three (!) separate sets over the course of the weekend, and Remi Wolf will be hosting a 1970’s Pool Party-themed SuperJam. And all of that’s without mentioning Insane Clown Posse (!!), who are set to make their Bonnaroo debut. Yes, Bonnaroovians and Juggalos, together at last.

Beabadoobee was one of Taylor Swift‘s opening acts on the original U.S. leg of the Eras Tour and now she’s opening up about touring with the superstar.
The 24-year-old singer-songwriter chatted with Cosmopolitan UK about being inspired by Taylor when she joined the tour in 2023.
Beabadoobee also talked about how Taylor decided to stay sober while on tour.
Keep reading to find out more…
“She said she was doing this tour sober, and it made everything make sense. She’s a beast, dude – three-hour long shows every night, choreo. All this crazy sh*t. No supping on alcohol! She also helped me see that even when things are so epic, mistakes happen. You keep going. She helped me learn to stop freaking out about the little things. It made me a better artist,” she said.
Beabadoobee also talked about her appreciation of Chappell Roan.

Sometimes the alternative music categories at the Grammys are easy to predict. Most people knew Fiona Apple’s massively lauded “Fetch The Bolt Cutters” was winning Best Alternative Album in 2021, for instance. However, this year the field is different, with a few returning favorites who have enough disadvantages to make the race quite murky. Newer acts have their fair share of issues too.

Three major players would seem to be going head-to-head (to-head) for album honors. Vampire Weekend’s “Only God Was Above Us” has become arguably their most acclaimed album, scoring 88 on Metacritic. The record has also done well commercially, better than the other two academy darlings in the category, peaking at number-27 on the Billboard 200. Additionally, the success of their single “Capricorn” (a contender for Best Alternative Performance), which peaked at number-four on the adult alternative chart, could boost the band’s chances.

It’s official: Sabrina Carpenter covers are the new Chappell Roan covers. Not long after Saturday Night Live (with help from Ariana Grande) turned “Espresso” into the ultra-viral “Bridesmaid Speech,” a.k.a. “Domingo,” British singer/songwriter Beabadoobee has jumped in the ring with a reimagined version of Carpenter’s “Taste.”
In the rendition, recorded live at BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, Beabadoobee recasts Carpenter’s acerbic pop-rock hit into something gentler, with a slightly countrified, acoustic-guitar-and-strings arrangement — almost how the Corrs would’ve done it. To underscore the point,...

Warning: Spoilers For Heartstopper Season 3 Ahead!
Heartstopper season 3 is arguably the show's most emotionally moving installment to date, helped largely by its extensive soundtrack. The season sees the show's central characters navigating gender identity and mental health struggles, all while taking in the youthful joys of first love. The complex storytelling present in the Hearstopper's third season, which sees the return of many beloved characters adapted from the graphic novels of the same name by Alice Oseman, is layered over the perfect indie pop soundtrack.
Much of the show's soundtrack features LGBTQ+ and British musicians, mirroring the story's setting and adding to the immersive viewing experience. The show offers a uniquely intimate portrait of LGBTQ+ coming-of-age stories that makes it truly a groundbreaking win for representation. Heartstopper season 3 has finally arrived on Netflix, releasing eight brand-new episodes on Oct. 3. While fans are surely elated to be reunited with Nick and Charlie and all of their friends, the latest season tackles some of the heaviest and most mature subjects of the teen drama series yet.
As hinted by the second season, Charlie struggles with his mental health in the third season. These struggles come to a head in season 3 as both Nick and Tori worry about him and what he's going through. Elsewhere in the season, the teens begin to worry about their futures and where life will take them in university, their relationships, and beyond.
While the series digs deeper into the realities of being a teenager, Heartstopper maintains its happy-go-lucky and lovable quality that's so unmistakable. Part of that lovable qualities comes from the catchy and modern indie rock and pop soundtrack that will have...

Maude Latour’s fans have described her music as being for people who “had glow-in-the-dark stars on their ceilings” as kids. These days, Latour sees her music as “main-character” pop anthems for dramatic people with intense emotions, like herself.
“It’s for any girly who needs to put their headphones on, and that’s where they go to understand everything,” the 24-year-old dream-pop singer says. “It’s for people who journal. For people who love to feel every feeling and have a strong spectrum of emotions, and aren’t afraid to feel anything extremely.

Fittingly for an album named after an imaginary realm she invented as a child, Beatrice Laus’s sophomore effort as Beabadoobee, 2022’s Beatopia, was eccentric, unpredictable, and a bit fantastical, as if its songs were emanating like rays of light from a shimmery dreamworld sculpted out of ’90s indie-rock fuzz and bedroom pop.
Absent the clicks, hisses, and alien-sounding backing vocals that made Beatopia so appealingly weird, This Is How Tomorrow Moves initially sounds dry and familiar. But there’s a reason for that—and it’s not, or at least not entirely, a desire to court an Mor audience. Where Beatopia was influenced by ways of escaping the real world, from childhood fantasy to psilocybin, This Is How Tomorrow Moves is squarely grounded in frank reality—more specifically, the reality of the 24-year-old Laus striving for a new sense of maturity as a person and a songwriter.

Beatrice Laus has a clear head on This Is How Tomorrow Moves. For her third record, the singer-songwriter, who records as Beabadoobee, steps outside of the whimsical world she built on 2022’s Beatopia and faces the messy reality of becoming an adult. For Laus, that means owning her faults — a rite of passage she tackles like a champ.

beabadoobee has announced her new album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves, set for release on August 16th via Dirty Hit. Along with the announcement, the indie star has dropped the first single, “Take a Bite.”
Arriving as the artist’s third full-length album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves sees beabadoobee teaming up with legendary record producer Rick Rubin. As such, instead of recording in beabadoobee’s bedroom, the songs were cut at Rubin’s famed Shangri-La studio in Malibu. Despite the shift in setting, the record is billed as an introspective effort, showcasing both artistic and personal growth. “I love this album,” beabadoobee said in a statement. “I feel like it’s helped me so much more than anything else has in navigating this new era, this new understanding of where I’m at. Lana Del Rey has reunited with frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff for her new cover of Irving Berlin’s 1926 song “Blue Skies.” The track appears on the Antonoff-produced official soundtrack for the new Apple TV+ series The New Look. Stream it below.
The cover follows Florence + The Machine’s version of “White Cliffs of Dover” and The 1975’s rendition of “Now Is the Hour.” The soundtrack also features contributions from Nick Cave, Bartees Strange, Joy Oladokun, beabadoobee, and Antonoff’s own band, Bleachers.
Del Rey and Antonoff have a long collaborative relationship, with the latter just winning a Grammy for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical — due in part to his work on Del Rey’s most recent album, Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd? The two also collaborated on Del Rey’s upcoming country album, Lasso.
Later this year, Del Rey will make headlining appearances at festivals including Coachella,...
