Kavi Singh is an Indian actor known for vanishing so completely into his roles that each character feels like a new person altogether, with no echo of the last - in face, form, voice, or soul.

From the sharp-tongued, street-smart Laadi in Babbar, whose quick wit and unpredictable energy added a spark to every scene, to the intense and emotionally layered Bikka in Medal, Kavi has shown a rare ability to create fully fleshed-out personas. As Sewak in Rode College, he delivered a restrained yet powerful performance, portraying a loyal companion with silent strength. In Tabaah, his turn as Jaggi carried a raw vulnerability that resonated deeply with audiences.

His comedic timing and eccentric charm as Disco in the web series Shikaari made the character unforgettable, adding a vibrant, offbeat flavour to the narrative. As Gogi in Sector 17, he brought grounded realism to a small-town character navigating urban chaos. And in Dakuan Da Munda 3, his portrayal of Banta blended humor, emotional depth, and physical expressiveness - a performance that effortlessly balanced light hearted moments with the grit of the story.

Even in films where his appearance was limited to just a handful of scenes - as seen in Warning, Criminal, Panchhi, and Chobbar - his commitment to distinctive characterization and physicality left a lasting impression.

Kavi's journey began in theatre, first through youth festivals and later in workshops with Kewal Dhaliwal and Partho Banerji. He went on to earn his Master's in Theatre from the Department of Indian Theatre, where he collaborated with NSD trainers Rajiv Gaud, Suresh Shetty, Neelam Man Singh Chaudhary, Joy Maisnam, and Punj Prakash, as well as other noted directors. He has performed in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, and English plays, working with respected mentors such as Professor Mahendra, Dr. Navdeep Kaur, Prof. Shweta, and Pali Bhupinder Singh.

Known for his discipline, adaptability, and deep understanding of the craft, Kavi has earned the reputation of being a favourite among all the directors he has Worked with.
