Last time we chatted with the lovely singer Shweta Subram it was right after her appearance with Salim and Sulaiman Merchant at the Iifa weekend in Toronto and she had just released her first single ‘Jee Le’. Fast-forward a year and 3 months and the talented songstress has been very busy with concerts, collaborations and more. On October 13th, Shweta once again took to the mike and joined the fabulous composing duo for a special gig and we have all the details! Check out what Shweta told us about performing with Salim-Sulaiman again and the cool collaborations she has been working on!

You had quite a big event last Saturday with Salim and Sulaiman, tell us about that.

The gala event was in Ottawa. It was called Dhadkan, which actually means heartbeat in Hindi and it is a very appropriate name because the event was actually to raise funds for the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.

Laila Khan is alive, claims prime suspect
Parvez Iqbal Tak who is a close family friend of Bollywood starlet Laila Khan twisted his statement and now claimed that Laila Khan and her family is alive. Last day, during police interrogation Tak claimed that Laila Khan her mother Saleena Patel, sister Azimna Patel, siblings Zara Ann Imran and a relative Reshma Khan were all shot dead in Jammu and Kashmir and their bodies were buried outside Mumbai but now the prime suspect twisted his verdict and said that they are all alive. Ye Stupid Pyar Movie Review
Sometimes you just don’t get the subtle hints that come your way. Or maybe like the pyar in this movie you are sometimes plain stupid. The ad hoc scenes contribute to make a storyline which goes like this. Nri Abhishek (Jatin Khurana) meets salsa teacher cum gym trainer Neha (Noopur Patwardhan) and falls in love with her. They get married and move to Bangkok – on her insistence – but she disappears the first day itself. Enter Abhishek’s college best friend Simran (Akansha Shivhare) who helps Abhishek in finding Neha and the reason behind her leaving Abhishek.

When the previous paragraph itself sounds silly enough, I wonder how the makers...

More on the The Dirty Picture Music Release Plus Exclusive Pics and Video!
As we told you earlier the “Boombatt” music of the keenly awaited film The Dirty Picture was launched at a dazzling concert held at Inorbit Mall, Malad, Mumbai, on Friday 4th November 2011.

Kick-starting a ‘dirty’ weekend, the concert recreated the colourful 80′s era and featured live performances by the film’s cast and singers.

Bappi Lahiri and Shreya Ghoshal rendered the chart-busting ‘Ooh La La’ while Kamal Khan crooned to the romantic ‘Ishq Sufiyana’.

Emraan Hashmi, Tusshar and Naseeruddin Shah, performed to the energetic music of the film, before Vidya Balan’s grand entry.

Vidya Balan, looking her sensuous best, performed on the mischievous song ‘Ooh La La’.

In case you were wondering why composers Vishal-Shekar are not there. The duo were unable attend due to a prior commitment in Pune.

The audiences had a great treat and were left asking for more.

The Dirty Picture Synopsis: Imagine a make-up...
