She attended the University of Texas at Austin for 3 years and studied
in Salamanca, Spain for 6 months before interning at MTV Films, never
returning to Texas. She pursued acting and then worked at Miramax Films
and The Weinstein Company in the broadcast and post production
department for 5 years. Lacy went back to school and got her degree at
UCLA majoring in Art History. She is a painter.
