Nikolaj P. A. Rosenmejer marked his film industry debut in 2014 with a small role in the TV2 Denmark show "Op med Halen." Following this, he attended The Mediaschool in Lyngby, hosting the radio talk show "Rosenmejer/Pri" from 2016 to 2017. His participation in the 2016 Next Film Festival showcased his first short film, "Begravet i Fortiden" (2016). In 2017 he directed a music video entitled "Sidste Sus" by danish singer Maja Sofie Dahl, later on he joined the Clipshow "Klipfiskerne" on TV2 Denmark, drawing inspiration from America's Funniest Home Videos.
After a five-year hiatus dedicated to other ventures, Rosenmejer returned to the film industry in 2023. Since then, he has contributed to projects such as "Rotten & Minken" (2023), "Flow Art - A Meditation Story" (2023), and "The Rite of Passage" (2024).
His creative work is influenced by the styles of Twin Peaks creator David Lynch, Riget (english: The Kingdom) creator Lars von Trier, and (The Twilight Zone) creator Rod Serling.
