After a decade of diverse roles in theatre, Vijayashree made her cinematic debut in 2020, where she played Malini Teacher in Mayanadhi,Since,she has portrayed a broad repertoire of characters- Police woman in Kaval Thurai ungal nanban ,DSP in Bomai nayagi , CBI officer in Raangi , SI in Vatham,Ghost in Idiot, Social activist in The Great Indian Kitchen (Tamil), antagonist's wife alongside John kokken in Sarpatta Parambarai,a villager in Naadu and Tea estate owner's wife in the series Inspector Rishi. There has been a special mention about her in an article in Filmibeat ,where was applauded for her performance as an antagonist in her first debut film Mayanadhi{Tamil} as one of the rarest natural talent and an asset to the Tamil film industry . Vijayashree's performances are noted for their passion abd intensity,her most recent character garnered praise for Inspector Rishi.
