Biography

The music production wing of Morning Moon, Morning Moon Music, is operated by the award-winning songwriting trio Dan Lotti, Mike Sivilli, and Howard Dlugasch, who have been collaborating, recording, and touring together under various titles for nearly two decades. Morning Moon Music is a full-range music production team, with songwriting expertise, full-service studios, and the ability to work on location and remotely with artists and creators of all kinds.

Morning Moon Music is involved in all in-house Morning Moon projects, with several currently in development. Their services include music supervision/soundtrack curation, scoring and composing, and music editing. Working closely with directors and the production team, Morning Moon Music develops original scores that pay close attention to the target audience, demographic, scope of programming, and the emotional/tonal substance of each story.

In 2022, the team worked on the feature film Wildflower, financed by eOne, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, had its theatrical release in March 2023, and is now available on Hulu. Morning Moon Music contributed multiple original compositions as well as produced original recordings for some of the movie's most important moments. This project features their total scope and vision, as they also worked closely with the director to select the majority of source music in the film (both from independent and major artists).

Morning Moon Music produces scores for sync in television commercials, working with brands such as Toyota, Publix, Hershey's, NASCAR, and Zibby Books. The team has also produced a fully soundtracked live concert documentary, music videos, and singles for pop recording artists, including Georgia VanNewkirk. Morning Moon Music has been featured in Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter, among others, for its work with actress and singer Billie Lourd.
