‘Happy’s Place’ Gets an Exciting Season 2 Update — With a Twist
Image
After a successful debut season that featured eighteen comfy episodes, Happy’s Place was renewed for a second run as announced earlier this year. A return date was not included in the announcement at the time, but NBC has now provided one, set for this fall and with an exciting addition. Created by Kevin and Julie Abbott, Happy’s Place premiered on October 18, 2024, providing viewers with 21 minutes of utter amusement every week. Season 1 concluded on March 21, 2025, but weeks before, in February, it was renewed for another exciting season.

As all networks unveil their fall schedule for scripted and unscripted programs, NBC has officially revealed that Happy’s Place Season 2 will launch on Friday, November 7 at 8/9c. That’s not all! The sitcom will return with a double-episode event, meaning viewers will get to enjoy even more time with Reba McEntire’s Bobbie McAllister and other beloved characters. In addition to the country singer,...

‘Happy’s Place’: Which ‘Reba’ Favorite Should Guest Star Next? (Poll)
Image
Happy’s Place Season 2 may not return to NBC until later this year, but filming for the upcoming chapter of Reba McEntire‘s comedy is already underway. As teased in a recent Instagram post, McEntire is back on set with the ensemble behind this series, including Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Rex Linn, Pablo Castelblanco, and Tokala Black Elk. While the team is fast at work prepping episodes for Season 2, though, we can’t help but wonder which Reba favorites could turn up as guest stars. Created by Kevin Abbott, Happy’s Place is no stranger to Reba crossover as two key stars play series regulars with McEntire and Peterman, and Season 1 boasted appearances from vets Steve Howey and Christopher Rich, but we can’t help but keep our fingers crossed for more in Season 2. Abbott previously served as an executive producer and writer on Reba, which makes him eager to welcome back familiar faces.

“That’s Magic in a Bottle”: Reba McEntire Reflects on Reuniting With ‘Reba’ Family on ‘Happy’s Place’
Image
In 2001, the world was introduced to a single mom who works two jobs, who loves her kids and never stops, when The WB unleashed the power of Reba. For six seasons, audiences followed along with the titular character, played by country music legend Reba McEntire, as she navigated the ups and downs of life after discovering that her husband had been carrying on an affair with a much younger woman. McEntire commanded the stage of the sitcom, but was assisted in doing so by a dynamite ensemble who each helped the show become the massive success that it was.

Now, more than a decade later, while we may not be getting a Reba reboot, fans were thrilled when McEntire and numerous members of the supporting cast reunited for a completely different series, Happy’s Place. Leaving its first season behind with glowing reviews and viewership numbers, the title has nothing but...

Taylor Kitsch leads an ensemble cast as Isaac Reed, which features Betty Gilpin, Dane DeHaan, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Shea Whigham, Lucas Neff, and Kim Coates as Brigham Young. In addition to Young, American Primeval alters several real-life historical details and figures.

American Primeval uniquely blends brutal and violent elements of the horror genre with the classic Western. Despite its 59% Rotten Tomatoes score, it earned an 86% audience score and has been in Netflix's Top 10 TV Shows in the United States since it was released on January 9, 2025. Kitsch previously starred in the Peter Berg film Lone Survivor alongside Mark Wahlberg and Berg's classic television series Friday Night Lights.

15 Best Action Thriller Movies Like Sicario
Image
Movies like Sicario offer explosive action, thought-provoking political intrigue, and awards-pedigree acting talent. Released in 2015, Sicario is a slow-burning thriller about the nuances of drug cartel operations and the border between the U.S. and Mexico. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the movie focuses on three perspectives: an FBI agent, played by Emily Blunt; a secretive government agent, played by Josh Brolin; and an even shadowier assassin, played by Benicio del Toro. The film was a critical and commercial success, and it got a sequel three years later, Sicario: Day of the Soldado.

Only the best action-thriller movies remain comparable to Sicario, with its stunning cinematography and deeply ugly subject matter. However, many fan-favorite films by director Denis Villeneuve and other acclaimed filmmakers hit the same spots. Several are also available for subscribers on major streaming platforms or even for free, making it easy to find movies like Sicario for fans...
