Elena Sakuda

Elena Sakuda is a filmmaker, artist, and teacher currently based in Japan. Her short films have received recognition at both national and international film festivals. She has presented three exhibitions of her mixed media artwork, and is currently developing an experimental documentary exploring the lives of artists. Her experimental narrative film, The Zuzax, is undergoing post-production revisions. Looking ahead, she plans to continue writing and directing while supporting independent filmmakers and local artists
