Elena Sakuda

Elena Sakuda is a filmmaker, and instructor from Albuquerque New Mexico currently residing in Kyushu, Japan. She studied special effects makeup during her BA in Theater from the University of New Mexico. She has been an instructor in theater, visual arts, and more. After graduating from her Masters in Arts Education she began studying directing advancing to instructing workshops in directing at Central New Mexico Community College. She just finished her first narrative feature film, inspired by the beautiful state of New Mexico. In the future she plans to continue writing and directing. She is a big supporter of indie filmmakers and local artists.
