A season three of the hit show Yellow Jackets is coming to Showtime next month. After months of sharing photos from the wilderness set, the Showtime drama has revealed the date for its premiere. Yellowjackets Season 3 will premiere with two episodes on Friday, February 14 on the Paramount+ streaming service. In season three the past is coming back to “hunt” the adult survivors as some mystery force is clearly out to kill them all. Now, Deadline reveals that actor Hilary Swank has joined the cast of Yellowjackets season 3 as a recurring guest star. No details have been revealed about Swank's character, but she is expected to show up later in the season, which is currently being filmed in Vancouver. According to the report, Swank could become a series regular if Yellowjackets season 4 gets the green light.

The third season of “Yellowjackets” is expected to arrive on Paramount+ With Showtime next year, and Deadline reports today that Oscar winner Hilary Swank has joined the cast.

Deadline reports, “The two-time Oscar winner will be a recurring guest star on the upcoming season, which is currently filming in Vancouver. I hear there is an option for her to become a series regular should the hit series get a fourth season.”

The outlet goes on to speculate, “Details about Swank’s character, which will be introduced later in the season, have not been revealed. Based on the setup of the show, she could conceivably be playing the contemporary, adult version of a teen on the soccer team whose story has not been fully explored yet.”

Joel McHale (Becky) recently joined the “Yellowjackets” Season 3 cast as well.

Hollywood is reeling from the death of Al S. Ruddy, the Oscar-winning producer of such iconic films as The Godfather and Million Dollar Baby. Ruddy passed on May 25 at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center after a brief illness. The multi-hyphenate filmmaker was 94.
