Everyone remembers the first time they saw Pedro Pascal. Or, at least, they should remember. For most of us, it was when we saw him as Prince Oberyn Martell in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones. And in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Pascal credited the role for changing his entire career. Prior to the series, he was in things like Graceland,starring opposite Aaron Tveit, and was famously in an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But he hadn't yet hit it "big" and the actor said that it allowed him to then go on to get roles like Javier Peña in Narcos.

Andrzej Sapkowski, the author of The Witcher book series, recently attended the Opole Book Festival and threw shade at fellow fantasy author George R. R. Martin for how long he's taking to release The Winds of Winter. Sapkowki released Book 9 in his The Witcher series, Crossroad of Ravens, in his native Poland last year, and, as with Sapkowki's other books, it will be translated and available internationally this year, coming to 19 countries.

During the discussion (via Redanian Intelligence), Sapkowski revealed that he planned to write more books in the Witcher series, and that fans shouldn't worry about that being a tease that will never come to fruition. Canadian-born Sandra Oh talked to Dartmouth College’s graduating class of 2025 on Sunday and questioned whether bringing up the controversial issues of diversity, inclusion and equity initiatives could get her sent back to her native country.
