John Jacobs is an American film and television producer. He is best known for producing three number one films in a row including Blades Of Glory starring Will Farrell (2007), Beverly Hills Chihuahua starring Piper Perabo (2008), and Ted starring Mark Wahlberg (2012); Two of which spawned franchises and together grossed over a billion dollars.
He produced the smash hit Ricky Stanicky starring Zac Efron and John Cena (2024) from Amazon Prime which achieved over 30 million views the first month. He also produced the Disney+ Christmas movie Dashing Through the Snow starring Lil Rel Howery (2023). He is also a producer on Family Guy and American Dad.
His company, Smart Entertainment, has over 10 feature and television projects in development with an action thriller set for production in summer of 2025 with XYZ Films.
He is the President of Smart Entertainment and splits his time between New York and LA.
