This June, DC Comics and Legendary Comics are uniting for Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2, which will reunite the original miniseries’ Brian Buccellato and Christian Duce. In this new story, Amanda Waller utilizes Task Force X to help her develop hybrid Titans in order to ward off future attacks.

To stop Waller, the Justice League travels to the MonsterVerse’s Hollow Earth, where they once again discover monsters like Godzilla and Kong. This adventure not only promises to have much bigger stakes than its predecessor, but it will also feature ‘titanized’ versions of iconic DC Universe heroes and villains.

Plenty of shonen anime heroes like to act first and think later, with immature anime heroes like Goku and Luffy thinking with their fists, but not all anime leads are like that. The MonsterVerse franchise has so far grossed over $2.5 billion at the worldwide box office since launching with Gareth Edwards' Godzilla in 2014. Jordan Vogt-Roberts took charge of Kong: Skull Island before Michael Dougherty expanded the Monsterverse with Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

We finally got a full-blown crossover in Adam Wingard's Godzilla vs. Kong. The filmmaker returned for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire but won't be back for the next chapter; instead, that will be helmed by I Am Mother director Grant Sputore.

Marvel Comics and DC Comics will finally come together this year for a new crossover event. Announced at this week's ComicsPro retailer expo, Marvel and DC's respective editors-in-chief, C.B. Cebulski and Marie Javins, jointly announce the team-up.

We don't have artwork, creative team details, or a more definitive release date than later this year. However, it's been widely reported that we're getting at least two one-shots: Marvel/DC and DC/Marvel.

Since his emergence in 1954, Godzilla has gotten into many fights. Sometimes, it was because of his instinct to destroy, and other times, it was because he wanted to establish himself as the apex predator on a planet riddled with kaiju.
