Liz Rose is a Grammy Award-Winning songwriter, 2007 SESAC Songwriter of the Year, 2010 BMI Award winner for Songwriter Of The Year, 2012 ACM Award winner for Song Of The Year, 2015 Songwriter Of The Year at CMA Awards, founder of Liz Rose Music Publishing, and Texas Heritage Songwriter Hall Of Fame inductee. Rose is also on the board of directors for Country Music Association (CMA), Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), and most recently, being one of the first of two songwriters inducted into the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA).
She was Grammy Award-Nominated for Song Of The Year and Best Country Song again in 2016 for her co-written single "Girl Crush" performed by Little Big Town and won Best Country Song.
Recently, she has co-written single "Cry Pretty" performed by Carrie Underwood. She was also a co-writer on single "Crazy Girl" performed by Eli Young Band which won her the 2012 ACM Award for Song Of The Year.
