With just days to go before its release, Travis Scott announced that his Cactus Jack compilation album Jackboys 2 will roll out this Sunday, July 13.

According to post shared to his Instagram on Thursday night, the project will span 17 songs and be hosted by Bun B. “The Jack is back with 17 tracks full of trunk rattling classics in the making,” read the text on the poster. Alongside the image, the rapper wrote in the caption: “JB2 Out Every Where 7 13

The duo effortlessly played off one another as they took turns singing the chorus of the sleeper hit toxic love-themed track, dancing and vibing as Sza threw out an effortless falsetto. Atlantic Records has announced the details of F1 The Album, the star-studded soundtrack to Apple Original Films and Warner Bros.’s upcoming action flick F1, starring Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, and Damson Idris. The film, directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick), revolves around a Formula 1 race car team on the verge of collapse.

Executive-produced by Kosinski and Jerry Bruckheimer, who also produced the film, F1 The Album is due June 27 and features new tracks from Ed Sheeran, Tate McRae, Raye, Burna Boy, Blackpink’s Rosé, Chris Stapleton, Sexyy Redd, Madison Beer, and more. The first single, Don Toliver’s “Lose My Mind,” featuring a barnburner of a verse from Doja Cat, dropped yesterday alongside a visual effects-heavy music video, directed by Christian Breslauer.

With this new Don Toliver-Doja Cat joint, F1 might be gearing up for what might be the film soundtrack of the year. On Thursday, the Brad Pitt-starring film released a sultry, race car dream sequence video for the single “Lose My Mind” off of F1 the Album.

The Christian Breslauer-directed video opens with a close-up of one of the Formula One vehicles with Toliver singing inside of it. The film then transforms into an X-ray version of the car as he delivers the high-energy, electronic track’s lyrics.

Doja Cat has teamed up with Don Toliver for the new song “Lose My Mind” and the music video has been released!

The 29-year-old rapper and singer is featured on the track with the 30-year-old fellow rapper/singer, which is the first single from the upcoming F1 movie starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris.

The track was written by the duo, along with Grant and producers Ryan Tedder and Hans Zimmer, and features the movie’s official theme song.

Kali Uchis dropped a new single, “Ilysmih.” It is the second listen off her forthcoming fifth studio album, Sincerely, out May 9 via Capitol Records.

The intimate ballad was inspired by “the profound experience of motherhood and immeasurable love for her child,” according to a press release. On the track, Uchis sings: “All the world is crazy, but you’re here/ My baby made me realize/ That nothing else even matters/ Oh, I love you so much it hurts.”

Ryan Coogler‘s “Sinners” is much more than a bloody showdown featuring vampires. The supernatural thriller is anchored in music, specifically the blues.

In the film, in theaters now, Michael B. Jordan plays Smoke and Stack, twin brothers who return to their hometown in the 1930s Mississippi Delta, seeking a fresh start. Miles Caton plays their young cousin Sammie, a sharecropper and the pastor’s son, who has a deep connection to music. He dreams of becoming a blues musician, so the twins recruit him to perform at their new juke joint. There, his preternatural musical ability sets off a chain of supernatural events.

To craft the music for “Sinners,” which became a character of its own within the film, Coogler called on his go-to collaborator, composer Ludwig Göransson. Göransson, who also serves as an executive producer, began sending Coogler songs early on in the development process.

Ludwig Göransson’s original soundtrack for “Sinners,” Ryan Coogler’s latest film, will feature collaborations with artists like Brittany Howard, Rod Wave, Raphael Saadiq, James Blake, Cedric Burnside, Rhiannon Giddens, Don Toliver and Lola Kirke.

The soundtrack, along with Göransson’s original score, will be released by Sony Classical and Sony Masterworks April 18.

The highly-anticipated horror thriller is based on an original script by Coogler, with the project set in the 1930s Jim Crow era-South with Michael B. Jordan playing twin brothers.

Göransson executive-produced the soundtrack with Serena Göransson and Coogler. The lead single by Wave called “Sinners” has already been released, along with a music video.

For the score, Göransson drew from blues music. “The score I composed for ‘Sinners’ is the most personal of my career. It’s a reflection of my own musical journey, told through the voice of the instrument that means the most to me.

Owen Wilson made a surprise appearance at the Rolling Loud music festival over the weekend, taking the stage with Travis Scott in Miami.

The actor braved the rain to come out onstage Sunday during Scott’s set, according to videos posted online and multiple reports.

Wilson appeared ahead of Scott’s performance of his 2023 track “Fein.” In videos posted online, Scott and Wilson can be seen conferring, before Wilson shouts into the mic: “I’m feining for more!” The pumped-up Wilson stays onstage, rocking out to the music.

Rolling Loud is kicking off this weekend!

The world’s largest hip-hop festival just released the set times for its flagship event, taking place between December 13-15 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Fla.

Celebrating 10 years of Rolling Loud, headliners include Future, Travis Scott and Playboi Carti, with superstars set to perform like Yeat, Don Toliver, Lil Baby, Metro Boomin, Lil Yachty, Trippie Redd, Tyga, Lil Tecca, Rick Ross, Jt, Sexyy Red, Kodak Black, and many others.

The festival is also introducing country music to its lineup with stars like Shaboozey and Reyna Roberts.

A livestream featuring hosts Speedy Morman and Jazzy’s World will be available all weekend on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, the Rolling Loud channel on Twitch, and Prime Video. For the full festival lineup, click here.
