Derek Luh
Actor Derek Luh has cemented himself as a one-to-watch talent with his dynamic and charismatic on-screen performances. Luh can be seen in Amazon Prime Video's hit series "Gen V," a spinoff of the fan-favorite and critically acclaimed series, "The Boys." "Gen V" explores the lives of hormonal and competitive young adult superheroes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test at America's only college exclusively for superheroes, Godolkin University. Luh stars as the masculine form of 'Jordan Li,' a bigender superhero who possesses the ability to shift between two different gendered bodies, each of which comes with its own unique powers and identities. Luh's version of 'Jordan' has superhuman strength and invulnerability. Despite being one of the most powerful supes at Godolkin University, 'Jordan' is often overlooked. "Gen V" also stars Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Chance Perdomo. "Gen V" will return for season 2 in September 2025. Prior to his breakout role in "Gen V", Luh could be seen in the first season of Starz's comedy-horror series "Shining Vale," where he recurred as 'Ryan He,' opposite Courteney Cox and Greg Kinnear. The series focuses on the Phelps family who move to a small town into a house in which terrible atrocities have taken place, but nobody seems to notice except for Pat (Cox) who's convinced she's either depressed or possessed. The first season debuted on March 6, 2022. Luh's other credits include appearances on CBS's "All Rise" and Hulu and Marvel Studios' "Runaways," where he made his acting debut. Luh currently resides in Los Angeles.
