Gia Kim(I)

Gia Kim is a Korean actor born in Seoul, raised in Seoul and Hong Kong. She studied journalism and music in university and started her professional career in broadcast journalism in New York and Beijing, and went onto work as a news reporter at the Arirang Newsroom in Korea. Her acting journey was sparked by a community theatre musical she did in Beijing, which prompted her move back to Korea. There she co-founded a theater troupe to self-produce plays in Daehakro (Korea's equivalent of Broadway). And after a few years, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a 2.5-year conservatory program at the Art of Acting Los Angeles. Upon graduation, she landed her first commercial TV role in XO Kitty as Yuri Han, described as the "reigning queen bee" of her international high school in Korea. She is fluent in English and Korean and conversational in Mandarin.
